If you buy from a country, does it have to be from your planet?

The planet name appears as a modifier on the offers, but it also appears in places it doesn't matter (like on this post) so I can't tell if it's important.

Two more related question:

Can you see the unemployment distribution of another country? I can see the EMployment page, but when I click on the UNemployment link, I get told I'm not logged in (which I am).

There are no offers by the game on the bid for population page. Is that eslewhere (and if so, where?) or is the game not currently offering population?

It doesn't matter which World the population comes from when buying/selling.

Unemployment distribution: You can't view this directly, but you can get all the individual figures. On the Employment page they are listed as totals under the breakdown for each work category by age.

I've just checked for population bids and there are definitely some there now. Just in case you did get a bit lost in the menu system, from the Simcountry Portal, click on Cash market on the left-hand side. Then Bid coins for population transfer. Offers from players are listed first, followed by offers from the gamemaster. Is that what you were looking for?

That's where I was. Before, there were only offers from players. Now there are offers from gamemaster, too. Thanks.

Also, I realized I was getting the not logged in message because I don't have a country on the world that had the country I was investigating.
