If I destroy my countries defensive weapons will my country just order more of them?

This is really starting to agrivate me that I can't eliminate as many defensive or offensive weapons as I like when I have my country in secured mode and it's the only country that I own so there is no chance of it being attacked.

So, will the countries automatic ordering just order the weapons that I destroy the sometime after I've destroyed weapons of both offensive and defensive?

Thanks,

Sell them and make money from it.

Also, make sure you disband all of your military units, too. Weapons hide in units, where they don't show up in inventory, and I think they still get their ammo resupplied from time to time.

When I sell them my country just buys more of them when Im not around to stop it. So Im quite certain that Im probably paying more to buy them every month then I would if I could just destroy them IF the game doesn't buy more of them after they've been destroyed.

I initially sold everything I could in weapons and ammassed about 7T or so from it when I first started to play which afforded me the money to build corps and have some headroom, but now I want the rest of the military gone until I decide to build my military.

As an example I sell 40 jeeps and then next month I've got 40 of them in my stocks again (probably cost more than I make from selling them too)

Make sure all your garrisons are set to "None" as well. I think they buy new ammunition from time to time.

Your military automatically buys ammo as a training expense... I haven't had any weapons bought automatically though, so I don't know what to think about it. If you have less weapons I believe the ammo usage per month goes down
