I'm the President of 'Berries and Cream' on White Giant. From what I'm reading on different websites and from what I can interpret from my financial statements, CEO-controlled companies produce a lot more money for my country than state-controlled corporations do. I have ten state-controlled corporations and two privately held ones, but was able to offer IPOs for three of my state-controlled companies and did so, issuing 15M shares (the max) for all of them. They now total 115M shares and are listed as "Country Controlled Public Corporations." Was this the right step to take in making these corps as profitable and growing as fast as possible?

By the way I'm still a noob with this game and just started a few days ago, so any help at all is greatly appreciated.

I would not have IPO'ed my state controlled corps, unless I had a CEO buying them.

IPO'ing the corp will allow them to increase faster in value, as long as they remain profitable. You will actually lose some of the profits now, as they are distributed as dividends to shareholders.

There is a way to maximize value and profitability by selling the shares to a couple of your Enterprises. You might want to check into that later.

I attempted to get my CEO to buy shares in a new IPO that I offered of one of my countries corporations and it went down sort of like this:

9:02:56 PM: Country issues IPO of 15M max shares
9:03:30 PM: Enterprise issues buy orders of 15M shares.
9:05:00PM: Country checks share holders and finds huge list of share holders and no sign of CEO account owning any shares.

So... I have however had one occasion where it did work out in my favor, but usually I find that other investment funds grab up the shares before my CEO gets a chance at them.

I'm now in the process of buying up all my CEO controlled corporations with my country and just going to exit my CEO account after that's done.

Anyway, I have my countries publicly traded corporations set to 30% profit sharing, I assume this is how much will be divided amongst the share holders, where as my regular corporations are set to about 60% that goes to my country, and there is almost always a demand for my corporations shares on the market.

When you decide to do an IPO in the future, try to get your corporations price per share as high as possible and then issue the IPO so that you get the most for it, because it will come down in price per share at some point.

I had a corporation that issued shares at 1,807 $SC per share, that some investments bought, it's now selling at about 85$SC/share. Boy did they take a beating on that one.

The weird thing is that after doing the three IPOs of that company, my country's monthly income went from $2B/month to over $14B/month. Thoughts on what I should do now that they are public?

Do your IPO's after the 17th and you shouldn't get much competition.

If someone else buys the shares, lower production to 10% until the PE goes up They will then dump the shares. That way your country gets full price and your CEO will buy the shares at a discount.

Leave them public, or if they really start to bottom our, then repurchase the shares when they are dirt cheap, build the corp back up, then IPO again when ever the simulation lets you and your share price is high.

That's what I would do, and have done.
