Used 16 Gold Coins from your balance for new registration
and play President of xxxx on FB
for 16 days from Jun 01 2008 to Jun 17.

Does that mean my account gets deleted after 16 days? is there anyway to extend? for how long? or I will have to pay to keep an account for more than thse 16 days.

I am enjoying this game, but I am not willing at this stage to spend money, only after a few days of play, maybe in a month or two, when I have a solid country and would like to play more seriously.

Any help will be appreciated

You have to pay to keep the same country.

Your registration is deleted after those sixteen days, but you can come back and register another country for another trial period.

You are allowed an indefinite number of trial periods. However, if you want to keep the same country, you will have to pay.

Okay, if I become a full member $12, will i be able to keep extending it, through money I make, if I play well?

Odds are long against you being able to do that out of the gate. Down the road, you may reach a point where you can do that if you're good at the econ side of things.

could you explain a bit more?

Ok here's the deal. Each gold coin sells on the cash market for at least 580 Billion game cash. So to extend in the 30 day increments you have to make enough to buy 30 of them in 30 days. That means 17.4 Trillion dollars total assuming you can buy at base price. 600-650 Billion is not uncommon. I have an econ based country that is about 50 million people. While not a perfect econ it produces about 250-300 B per game month. On LU the fastest turn server at 6 months per day that gives me 1.8T at best per day or in perspective you can get the coins investing everything your country makes into coins in 17ish days. Reality is there are expenses. Earthquakes, expanding the empire etc. Also population grows slow, the best way to grow it is either conquering inactives with large populations (meaning in many cases the need for a large army and least one additional country) or buying pop on the cash market. Pop is bought with gold coins not cash. So the ability of a new country with 5-6M people is around 5-8 Billion being generous per game month or 2,175 game months or 362.5 days on LU for your first 30 coins.

how long did it take you to get about 50 million people?

I just also realised that, you may play in several worlds with trials, and then try to combine the gold to extend 1 paid country?

Nope because each country will cost you 16 gold and then time out, once you've paid up on an account you never get another trial.

For me I've been playing since early/mid March this year. That said I bought a considerable amount of my population. Letting it grow on its own is -very- slow, you'll spend years letting the population grow reproducing on its own. Expect to pay 5 coins per million bought, sometimes you can get it less but that's the base amount.

Having good health care seems to help with the amount of reproduction my peeps are doing, or should I maybe say the amount of deaths that don't occur every year.

And of course, the more population you have the more reproducing they do every year. For example when I first bought my country, it had a birth rate of somewhere around 140k, and a death rate of maybe 50k per year. My population is now almost 19M (yeah, I bought quite a bit of population), and now my birth rate per year is just shy of a half a million per year (net, after the deaths are factored in).

With more population comes more responsibility, things like making sure your peeps are employed so as not to be a drain on your economy, so to me anyway, it seems like it's almost a constant need now to build corporations to employ the peeps every year, although Im way ahead of the game in that respect since I've got corporations (fully staffed) coming out my ying and yang.

Hi, I decided to start again, anyway I see that its 30 gold coins to extend 1 month, but do u still have to have the full membership? From what Xaldin said, you just need 30 gold coins a month to extend?

Thanks

Sorry what I mean is that, do I have to pay the $12 every 3 months? to be able to use the gold coins? Or can I use the gold coins I make, to try and indefinately extend my country

If you manage to make enough money you can buy GCs and use them to extend. Some players with established empires haven't had to pay real money for a long time.

If that is true, i am wondering, why i can't extend my membership any further even if i own a lot of GC.

Can anyone explain please?

You have to cash out the GC into a Paypal account, and use the money from the cashout to extend the membership.

There are certain restrictions on cashouts, and you need at least 1000 GC for them, I believe, and can't drop below 500 GC on your account.

Apparently, there are now game levels requirements to cash out...can't say I understand that one...

The problem being you can only extend your countries and enterprises the length you account expires to. So if you intend to get a country or enterprise to fund itself it needs to earn 60GC per month, because you get half the value of GC being traded in.

Due to "financial services" its nearly impossible to earn this much per month.

could you conquer a neighboring country and then just sell it off after you win to keep your same nation?

Not really. While you TECHNICALLY can conquer and sell C3s, it will probably be hard to find a buyer at any price that would remotely benefit you, given the commission that is charged on country sales.

You'd need 1000+ GC to cashout to pay for extending your membership, too, and the odds of selling a recently conquered C3 for 1000 GC are even more remote than winning this week's powerball jackpot.
