In my limited experience, I've found that the automated systems really take a bite out of my monthly income that I would otherwise get by keeping employment at 100%.

It took some of my corporations and reduced them down to about 60% because the market had a lot of product, and this led to the corporation 100% turn around, from when it was earning .54B to losing .45B so I now keep everything at 100% employment levels because it keeps the corps making a profit, and then stockpile the products that are in excess now in the world inside of my country and then sell it when the market is dry.
