Hey folks, just a little beef to share with the new people.

First, there's no shame in asking for help when you're new. This game is incredibly complex, with a lot of different aspects. There's quite a few people who don't mind giving up their time and energy to help people out who ask for it.

BUT..., do those of us who DO help new people a favor and show a little common courtesy.

I'm a little torqued off right now because I'm battling for an award this month on GR, I'm right on the borderline and need to spend my time working on my own stuff. But a noob messaged me, and sincerely wanted my help. I advised them about a couple things that they asked about, they were still having trouble, and asked me to check out their country. That was yesterday RL. So today I went to their country and spent an hour evaluating where they were, where they needed to be, and the best way to get there. I then split all this up into 7 different messages (they had done just about every wrong thing you could think of)and sent it off. I gave them step by step, click this button, do this, click that button, etc. instructions because it seemed they had trouble with English. When I came back online this evening I went to check the country and POOF, they had disappeared and it was now a c3. A simple "thanks for the advice but I don't think this game is for me" would have kept me happy. Will really make me think before I go to that much trouble again.

So do us a favor and give us common coutesy and respect, please. I know that since this is an "anonymous" game it's easy to just blow things off, but a little decency goes a long way.

And if you're the person I went to the trouble for, and you decided just to ditch that country and start a new one PLEASE do not ask me for help again, I'll recognize you and as much as I hate to be rude, I will be.

Sorry all, but I had to get that off my chest. My time is valuable, as is the time of anyone who has worked to actually accomplish something in the game.

JMR32, do what I do and first write the help you're sending in notepad or word. That way you can save it and use it as a teaching document. So the next time someone needs similar help you can just send the saved doc and not have to type the message all up again.

I came to this forum rather late. I had a few countries and abandoned them because I really screwed things up. Now, I think I've got the basic gist of this complex and awesome game, but I'd welcome anyone to review and give me tips. I'd also help out if I can for anyone who needs help. @Navimin : Do you have a country in golden rainbow? I need review for my defense index to gey 40.0
My defense index is tag in 22.78 , I've just already bought 2 milion of artilery and 1,5 milion light tank ammo and its still not raise a litle
I can't raise to level 2 because that (United of Ommarta)
My country is raise to rank 1162 (+115), i think it is prove that i'm serious to play this game

Buy interceptors, you dont need to buy the ammo if you are in secured mode. Only active weapons count, not de-activated ones. Interceptors are the best points increase for money spent except radar planes, but they use twice as many workers.
Ammo adds next to nothing to your defense index.

Duh, my bad, missile interceptor batteries of course.
Apologies.

Also, to be clear, its the radar planes that use twice(ish) the workers.
