Dfi help (Little Upsilon)

ok i need 87 DFI points, and i think i got something here but i dont lol

i did the math and 500 jeeps is .12 index i was told the index was the index value corresponding to the dfi.
Anyway

87 / .12 = 725

752 x 500 = 362,500
now i find this hard to believe so what happened with my math, or was i told wrong?

Yep, if you buy 362,500 jeeps and put them in the field you'll get your 87 DFI points. But you won't have much of a force if the bad guys come knocking on your door. LOL

so if i have 13 points that will get me to 90!
i have secruded so they can come knocking but my restraining order will keep them out =-).

what do you mean put them in the field? is that how you aquire the points, i was told if they are in your inventory they count for points too.

This is an area that I don't know the full aspects of. They count to some degree, they definitely count towards your DI, but the way it worked for me was that the DFI didn't go up much unless I put the troops in a garrison (land units) or deployed them (air units). If I did that it went up a LOT faster. I never did the math on the garrisoned land units, but what Parsifal and others have said in other threads sounds right to me.

Since I'm having a bad forum day, I'm going to leave it at that.
