I just checked. My DFI is right for the total number of weapons I have, even though most of them were never deployed. Maybe people are getting different results because the game might only give you so much 'free' like that. But my DFI in the 40s is where it should be based on my weapons.

We know.

In fact, it used to happen the reverse. The weapons in units or garrisons did not count towards their respective indexes.

I guess not everyone (beside me) knew. I had been getting conflicting advice on it.

Okay, I concede. It must have been a glitch or during the transition that it happened to me. Sorry for being an asshat, I won't pursue it any further.

You weren't being an asshat and you weren't the only one under that misapprehension.

Well, when I did the math that didn't appear to be the case. Could someone who thinks John and I are wrong also do the math on their countries and see if you don't have the DFI you should when you're not fully deployed? Or have more than the DFI you should when you are?

I'll be posting a new thread (for other reasons) which will give some reference numbers, like DFI points for most defensive weapons, that may help people figure this out. But the same info is available in the war section of the documentation.

It doesn't make a difference.

I know it doesn't, because I pushed Willard to fix it.
