Water Treatment Facilities be under your health index?

The direct effect of having a poor water supply would be diseased or dead people; causing more to be hospitalized and the average death rate to climb.

Water Treatment Facilities treat the water and they add water pressure....what does it have to do with the transportation system? :S

Well not really. Realistically it would prevent health from declining, but would not improve health either. Plus everyone would buy a zillion water treatment facilities and no hospitals to improve their growth rate.

I disagree, Water treatment facilities is a method of keeping people from getting sick from water in the first place.

"These are facilities that are used to treat water and make it usable as drinking water. Make sure you have enough of these installations in the country."

I'm going to assume that without water facilities, water isn't drinkable and should lead to decline of population from people getting sick, and diseased. Of course I'm not going to go into building immunities.

Their effect on the health of people is very marginal compared to hospitals. It would make sense that insufficient water treatment facilities would reduce health, but extra should not improve it. Also would make sense that having loads of large chemical and fuel consuming factories would reduce health.

I would say they are more environmental - treatment plants are usually used to treat waste water before returning it to rivers and seas. It is usually much easier and cheaper to find clean water supplies than purify dirty ones, at least here in the West.
