see war players say o u only need a good econ...

5countries = 900GC
35M population = 175GC
2CEO = 60GC per month
Plus the 125T in cash that must be in cash or in loans
Not to mention extra cash that's used

In total a player must make 480T in cash to just make it there...or 1600GC plus what ever more you need. The game gives you 1000GC but honestly you should get more.

I did some math Blueserpent makes 500B per month in his best econ. It would take him 960game months(divide it by 6 lets say hes on LU) that's 160 real life days or 5.5 real months.... AND HES ESTABLISHED!!!

Maestro2000 started playing Simcountry in September 2009.

And he has been playing a lot more than 5.5 mths

By your calculations he should have many more T's than he needs

Does econ include countries that charge 75% corporation tax rate? I have none of those.

If im making great profit, how is 75% tax not good econ?

Believe it or not high tax isnt to punish outside ceo's its to make more cash off my own corps,which i prefer.

I take it your enthusiasm in the game is waining if having a pop at me everytime you post is the best you can do :).

How are you making more income on your own corporations? It's just moving money from your left pocket to your right pocket and calling it "income".

Maestro, I'm sorry but you really are showing your ignorance and narrow mindedness.
Low tax CEO income is by no means the only way to make money. In fact the best money makers I've come across in 3 years prefer their own corps at high tax. You have far more control that way too.

So shifting tax dollars from your corporation to your country is netting you additional income?

It's moving money from your left pocket to your right pocket.

A 75% tax rate on corporations in your own countries isn't creating any new wealth.

Yes it is. The bottom line is the country monthly profit. A countrys/ceos cash is the only cash you can use to purchase GC. Presuming GC as the base measure of wealth, this would be what you are after. 'Tax dollars' in a corporation are doing zip. Agreed eventually a profitable corp will automatically transfer cash to the country, but why not take it monthly?
I think any economist (even Laguna) will tell you that cash flow is critical to economic growth. Having tons of cash sitting in corps is pointless. Maybe you learnt back in the days when we didnt have direct trade and we needed to stash cash somewhere somehow.

I count my corporations as part of my wealth. (My country owned or my CEO owned)

So cash in these corporations is still one of my pockets.

Not telling you what tax rate to charge. It's your choice. That was not the subject here.

It's 75% tax on your own corporations.

Maestro, it's a good sound proven strategy. Thats why, I do it in my mains also. Try it and find out for yourself instead of questioning other people. Blues explained his reasons why, I've explained my reasons why, you have not explained any reason why not, so please talk from an informed opinion or not all.

I ask the moderator to close this thread, I know its not my thread but it is getting a bit annoying.
