Poll Idea 01: Error Message Improvements (White Giant)

All messages that say you have to wait before you can do something should include the game date or calendar date you can do it, as appropriate.

Example: Don't tell me I have to wait 3 weeks to do another poll, tell me I have to wait until 3-Sep-2008.

Example: Don't tell me I have to wait until next month to exchange more workers, tell me I have to wait until 16-Dec-2656.

It tells you when the poll was made. You should be able to figure out when you can make another poll if you passed second grade mathematics. Also there's and easier way, after the three weeks have past your poll will have disappeared from the poll list indicating that you can make another poll. If your checking in every game month you should probably find something else to do. Unless your at war not a lot changes each game month, and even each game year.

First of all, those are two examples of incomplete messages. There are others like them.

Second, my poll is buried in among a host of gooberific polls, and I've got better things to do than look for it. The programmer knows when I can do the next poll, they should tell me. It's called good user interface design.

Third, maybe your country doesn't change all that much each game month. Mine does. By making effective trades on time, plus taking other actions, my employment % is popping up 0.5% to 1% each game month. Given that I get a financial reward for going up another 3%, I get my reward much earlier for much less effort on my part.
