yes, well, frankly the "Level" restrictions are preventing many junior leader from building many good corporations for profit, or any military corporations, assuming that they do not also have an enterprise.
[8:37:59 PM] a statistic is posted in the forum also, that roughly 2,000-2,500 leaders remain at "Level 1", while only approximately 100 are "level 2" or higher, on Golden Rainbow
[8:39:32 PM] a message was just received from a leader near this country, who has over 100 corporations, but remains at "Level 1", with 4 countries in the empire
[8:40:11 PM] well, im outta here... later all!
[8:40:14 PM] serpent has left
[8:44:05 PM] it seems that "trial" leadership should have much more restrictions, in terms of the time, especially, but also limited to one world, perhaps; in this region, for example, there are 50+ countries, with only one other "full" active leader, "GeneralDirtRocker", and three new leaders who just began; 25+ unoccupied countries, and 20+ "inactive" countries
[8:45:58 PM] every country in the region, and those bordering the region have been sent at least one, sometimes two messages; only a few of the newest leaders and one "active" leader have ever responded

I think the new level system should be removed and put the old grading system back.

I don't think level awards are causing inactivity. I've always seen staggering numbers of inactives. Sometimes I wonder if they're even real people or just a mirage in the barren desert of SimCountry.

But, I think if we absolutely must keep this system (and I wish we wouldn't), that new players should get a grace period after they join where they can build more advanced corps.

I'm not sure what the biggest complaint is about. While the Level 1 corps are mostly not very profitable, there are a large number of Level 2 corps that are. It's also VERY easy to get to level 2. While I DO see a need to educate new people that the way to get better corps is to get to a slightly higher level, I don't see a huge problem with it. Most of the requirements for Level 2 are also good practices for a country anyway.

If the annoying things have to stick around, I wouldn't mind seeing new players defaulted to "peaceful" levels so they don't collapse their economy with the military.
