Each country has different resource advantages that effect corp's.

For example,

Fertile Soil: 20 + quality to Agriculture type corps
Natural Wonder: 20+ quality to Recreation type corps

Or more corp specific effects such as

Adv Alien Ship Found: 1000+ output for Computer and Eletrocic Components corps

Or perhaps

Helpful Natives: -10% monthly use for Services on all corps.

Obvious all (bad) examples but you get my point. It adds a little uniqueness to countries, and it makes holding some of these countries a higher/lower priority.

I like this idea. How about countries with high topography (Hilly/mountainous) receive +20% production with mining corporations or mineral corporations.

There was a "plan" by 'Gamemaster' to begin a "Natural Resources Search Services" corporation. That corporation generally was intended to help identify which countries could build certain kinds of corporations. The exact details were never officially detailed, but 'Gamemaster' or other W3Creative representatives have discussed this issues on several occasions.

A corporation that produces "Natural Resources Search Services", for specific natural resources will be added to Simcountry in the coming weeks."

Probably, these plans were set aside as "space development" began at nearly the same time, and perhaps took away the needed resources or incentive to continue with it. Most likely, however, the idea was temporarily put aside, but not totally abandoned. At some point, it seems that these kinds of ideas, corporations, conditions are planned to be introduced. Certainly, other similar sites already have for a very long time these kinds of features, so it is an obvious "catch up" that Simcountry needs to make, and surely the 'Gamemaster' and W3Creative programmers already know this needs to be added.
