Currently companies will often not be able to deliver on a supply contract the first month. This is because they have already sold their products on the World Market and the buyer demands their supplies before the sellers next production run.
In the real world, a company would set a starting date for the deliveries they think they can manage.
As I see it, the problem is that the transaction happens in the BUYERS run. Everything would run much more smoothly if the transaction happened in the SELLERS run, just after production. |
