(To be brief for those who don't know, a CSV file is pretty much an excel export which can be edited like a regular excel and then uploaded to a database with new values. It's a great way to make lots of changes fast.)

A variety of areas would be easier to manage by being able to export data to an excel, change fields which allow user input, and then re-upload the new .csv to make the changes.

Take enterprises as an example:
We could export a .csv file which gave fields like:
Corp Name; New Corp Name (input field);

Current Salary; New Salary (input field); Current Hiring; Current Production; Current Quality; supplied etc...

Or each corp could be assigned an index number ( In the first column) and the Corp Name and other input fields could be edited directly...you get the idea.

This type of upload capability would make all managing faster; military, corps, etc.

This would make managing many things easier and less time consuming. Currently micromanaging (which seems to be the best way to produce a profit) takes more time than I really want to spend here outside of war.

I'd love to be able to pop-in, micromanage a mid-sized empire and an enterprise with max corps in under an hour; ideally under half an hour.

With that small managing timeline the user would still have to deal with many other interpretations of data, so the change wouldn't make the game too easy in terms of strategy; just a change to all the clicking...and clicking...and clicking...and clicking...and clicking...
:) :) :) :)
