I was just thinking guys as a broad idea what if the Highways of neighboring nations connected and dotted lines represented Trade lanes across the oceans linking coastal cities. that would allow countries to Literally Blockade with navies and extend or even postpone delivery times on ordered products and supplies.

What if the Each country had a climate and could only grow certain crops... or mine certain minerals. this would give coastal nations to have a reason to build colonial empires, leaving the inland for landlocked nations to bicker over.

and finally i was thinking SC allows Capitalist, communist and Socialist nations... while Capitalism is extremely difficult, in theory it is possible to have a nation with nothing but private corps. I think its clear that most if not all nations are socialist on this game. so why is there no Small Business index??? are not Small businesses the most important aspect of BOTH Socialist and Capitalist economies? so why not reduce the number of people employed by a Corporation and Come up with a Small Business System that fluctuates with the Economy?

once again just suggestions but i believe all of them deserve to be discussed ESPECIALLY the 3rd one.

A retail industry would be an incredibly large update to the game and there's tons to think about it regarding it, off hand employment complications.

I like how the material bought and sold by the pop works currently. Give your pop good wages and they can afford to buy stuff.

But there is a lot of good substsance here. If there was an incentive for local manufacturers, and trade dealings with neighbors it would be much more realistic. This would also give relevance to blockades another difficult to implement endeavor. But good idea.

The idea of strategic resources I believe is going to be implemented, which is flippin awesome, unfornuately it will just exasberate the conflicts of market volitility. This issue has been brought up a few times. As well as multi-sized corps.
