If anyone has any ideas of what advantages and disadvantages of a so-called anarchy government should have. Please post them here on this page.

I don't think Anarchy should exist. If anarchy were present. There would be no corps without private armies to protect them. No schools, no hospitals, rampant crime, real horribl place to live. And this coming from a guy whose musical preference is punk

I think you have an immature understanding of Anarchy. Just because 'punks' claim to be anarchists (generally far from the truth) doesn't make Anarchy a place of no co-operation. More of a rejection of any form of rule or control, the society being bound together by the collective morality of the populace.

So there!

Crafty's right Drew, the so called anarchists 'punks' are nothing compared to the real anarchists in the world. All you have to do is look at the situation in Somalia right now. That is true anarchy where warlords, pirates, mercenaries, exiles, organized crime, smugglers etc, operate in.

But in terms of this game I think it could work since you would be looked up to by other petty warlords or crime sydicates etc. as the 'Top Dog' in the country and would have the ability to pay or bribe them to carry out your dirty work. So I would'nt say that anarchy would be place of no co-operation either.

Well you guys grabbed my afterthought and ran with it. That wasn't the point. The point was merely that anarchy can't work within the spectrum of this game. Without a centralized government creating goods to the magnitude this game allows would be impossible for many reasons. If a corp did get large enough to do so, then it is illogical to believe that they could collectively protect what is there's. The war game is a whole nother big chunk that won't make any sense

Meh, I think in a anarchistic society peopler would naturally combine to protect what is theirs, after all they still want the finer things in life. Some might prefer to live purely 'off the land' but they would be no threat to society. Sort of like a MAD MAX scenario where the good guys eventually win out. I know thats just Hollywood, but then dont 99% of Americans think Hollywood is real? (sorry ;) couldnt resist that jibe). I reckon a country could be made to be almost self sufficient except for a couple of products like FMU, no harm to an Anarchy using a common market, just sort of like trading eggs for bread.

Anyway, I'm just dribbling nonsense for the sake of it. Anyone who has had a course of steroids will understand where my head is, lol, or any sulphate freaks.
