Revisions to government types (Socialist State)

If anyone has any ideas of the advantages or disadvantages to a socialist state government. Please post them here.

I like this... my thread seen very little low activity so you make 5 of em! Great!

The fundamental flaw with income redistribution is the lack of motivation and productivity. This holds true with both socialist Europe and Communist Asia.

However with greater control comes better efficiency from the government, they seem to be much less wasteful.

The other domineering factor of a socialist state is the lack of deficit spending as tax codes and consumption levels are mediated to the capabilities of the citizens.

Also people are happier in socialist deomoracies. Tend not to be in communist states, but that is because of low resources and poor management

SC game aspects then would consider this fact and allow for:

1. A stronger welfare boost
2. More manipulation of the tax code
3. A stronger effect of social security compared to salaries
4. Increased cost of government
5. Universal education/healthcare
6. Increased Migration Rate

I thought of the same thing Drew that your thread was a low on activity, quite disapointing actually.
