A number of tasks become kind of tedious in the long run; stuff that you have to do or check up on every log-in. It would be an advantage to be able to automate some of it.

Since players have different routines, it would be better to allow programming of tasks rather than try to locate change that will benefit all players.

Another use of macros could be in relation to large operations like war. In such a case, there's a lot to prepare. A macro could contain weapons activating, a big 'shopping list' like: buy x of this commodity when price is under Y etc.

It would be good to launch such an order in a few clicks compared to all the back and forth that it is now eventhough there are allready some screens that can handle more than one task.
