Assuming everyone has seen the Profit/Loss Screen, and it only shows the Cost of the Transportation System, but what if there was a Public Transportation System, then wouldn't you have Income from that? I believe the Transportation System should be like the Education and Health System by having both an income and cost.

The transportation system in the game refers exclusively to the infrastructure, which does not generate revenue.

Well in the real world, roads are infrastructure, yet some are tolled. Also, public transportation is infrastructure, and it generates revenue for it's locality.

Public transportation is not a road, railroad, or water treatment facility.

space this is a silly suggestion that you made just because you want a little more money to get you out of the red... here's a suggestion... raise taxes.... but there actually should be a income tax on the citizens that can be modified

This game is about corporation management. Most other avenues of revenue generation (loans, IF, PvP) have been slowly whittled away over the years to ensure this game remains about corp management. Manage corporations more profitably and you're set.

I have a strong economy, and a growing military, and this was only a suggestion, not a requirement, and the addition of this feature would make perfect sense as explained above. I say this again, this was only a suggestion.

@Alexander Bella - Income Tax would be a good and logical idea. I'm pretty sure you don't even know what country I own, or what my income sources and spending is, please don't judge on thoughts

It is obvious that public transportation is far from complete.
What we have is infrastructure only. It should be completed with bus and train corporations.

It should also be seperated from water treatment. We probably also need water, garbage processing, polution management, etc. as a separate group.

Another point, at least in my metro area, the public transit corporations (two to be exact, one on each side of the state line) really don't make that much money after paying all their employees and operating costs, and in fact the major one (not sure about the minor, but probably the same) gets financial backing from the counties and cities involved so they can actually operate...
Hell, the (semi)small city my ex is from has a regular bus system that takes a SINGLE QUARTER to ride because the town has a rather rich majority that want their downtown to be 'nice' and having a good bus system is 'nice' so it gets heavy outside funding so it can operate at its massive loss rate.
I should also point out that the small one on my side of the line actually had to cut back routes and times majorly a few years back because they lost the county vote to keep their current level of funding...
