Why?

Why does everyone have a problem for a separate cancellation list for newly conquered nations? I've almost deleted my leader nation several times and there doesn't seem to be any logical reason to contest it.

I am with you. Some type of "favorite countries list" you can make that is removed from the "cancel countries" screen would be nice.

Have you ever accidentally clicked your home nation and had a heart attack?

I have not but I understand. It can be a nervous endeavor in the cancel countries screen.
