A new safety index could be introduced to be displayed in the same way like health and education is etc. When you view its page, I think this index should be determined by the number of police stations you have across your country as well as being determined by the welfare index.

A safety index below 50 I think, would bring organized criminals and gangs to start stealing cash in some of your corporations as well as the private ones you have in your country. This however would happen even if the welfare index is high since they will always be opportunists ready to take advantage due to the lack of police stations in your country.

So now I have to build police stations? I thought this was included in "General Cost of Government".

On closer look. There is no doubt it is.

"This is the cost of the government facilities and administration. It also includes the cost of local government and the police."

I'm agree with James. This game is very realistic, but with safety index could be more like real country.

I'm disagree with the idea that the criminals and gangs steal cash in some of the country s corporations. I think the safety index could be a part of the welfare index.

Have a happy Xmas. :)

Very well Aries, I would have thought it could have been a good idea to split the police away from the general cost of government since they are really government, but rather a public service like the health and education is for example.

cl108, I don't think it's going to cost you even more money, but rather be able to do the opposite since you'll be able to control it's budget every month to see of how much you are spending on them, just like the other indexes.

Maybe the idea of having criminals stealing cash would most likely make the game harder for most players who are already tight on cash.

Overall I still think the police should be separated from the cost of government, or not what's the point of the other indexes being separate to them then?
