when you say one product at a time, one of us is confused. you can set up multiple transport orders. have been able to for a long time, unless they changed that.
thing that i'd like to see, is an improvement to sales, and shuttle allocation. as it is, if you have say, 100 shuttles, and schedule like 3 different transports, it will set up each with 20? i think its 20 max shuttles per transport. the problem i'd like to see fixed, is if a shuttle is offered on direct trading, the shuttle might be allocated to a transport, pick up SMUs, and when the transport is over, it'll sit their with SMUs, and be unable to be sold, do to having something in it. you have to manually unload the SMUs, and re-offer the shuttles. i'd like to see shuttles offered for sale, unable to be used for transport requests.
it wasn't very long ago, like 2-3 RL weeks ago, the last time i set multiple transport requests, at the same time, let
I think he means multiple products in one transport request? But there is no need for that because transport requests take care of everything basically, at least from everything I've noticed.
aww ok, so rather than having to click through each time, you want to get to the end, and put several products into one request? that sounds ok, but i tell ya, space needs allot of attention, and for quiet a while it was the war game, now the econ game, it'll be a while before we get some of the stuff necessary to make space a viable game, by itself, like space taxi's, that could make space much more valuable, but last i heard from the GM on that, they have a long list of stuff ahead of that. who knows tho, maybe they'll set this up
i mean the big thing about space, why pay GC for something that you can make yourself out of game cash, which is a much more abundant resource? its not until things in space cost a fraction of what they would via game money, that people will get interested in buying space products. the space taxi, for fee, you can buy something from a space station, and pay some one to shuttle it to you, and never have

Your idea sounds good too Josias.
@LB Musty. It is indeed multiple products in one transport request, but I don't understand why you say it's already covered.
Currently, for moving just one product from one station to another it's 9 clicks.
And, when I need to transport some amount of defensive military stuff then it's 9 multiplied by 20 (which is all the defensive military stuff I usually move - batt+ammo). And all goes to the same space station!
It's much more If I need to transport Offensive military stuff.
And what happenes if you need to do it, not to your main country if not to slaves too?
It takes a hell of time, for something that could easily be handled with "Transport multiple products" instead of just one.
That's my point and suggestion improvement

.
compared to manually moving products, what we got is a snap. and originally, that was the only way to do it. you'd have to manually load each one, and send it on its way, if you had 12 shuttles, the first ones would reach their desitnation, by the time you sent the 12th one, and then you'd have to manually unload each, and send it back. you idea might make things easier, but i still remember the old way, and am very happy with it, as it is.
a space trick, that actually falls into subject matter. if you want to do something like move 1M interceptor missiles. fast... if you set up multiple transport requests for the same stuff, it will allocate a separate set of shuttle for each request. i think that its max 20 shuttles per request, so if you have 100 shuttles, and request 1M missile be moved, only 20(?) will move and the other 80 will sit. but if you request the same 1M to be moved 5 times, all 100 shuttles will move, you ca
so thinking about it, your change, nico, could actually make it take longer to transport stuff, depending. as each request is allocated a set number of shuttles, you might be able to reduce the clicking, but with out an adjustment to how shuttles are assigned to requests, you might have shuttles sitting idle, while your transport request of multiple products is assigned a max number of shuttles.
not really meant as a deterrent, just food for thought.

Didn't know that thing of 20 shuttles per request. Don't remember seeing it on docs.
Anyways, very interesting

thanks. I will use it a lot.
GM will need to modify current logical then if this suggestions is accepted.
it took a little bit for me to find it, i was going from memory, but i did find where it came from

@ Josias: Yeah, I remember having to hand-load shuttles. Now it is a snap. Thanks for the tip on faster transport! I can definitely use that feature.
@ GM: I like the space taxi/ interplanetary trucking idea presented here. Please put it on the list of upgrades if you can work out the details. Thanx.
well, perhaps the GM fixed something i said here, i just ordered a bunch of transport requests, 7 total, and it seems that my shuttles offered for sale are sitting, just my unoffered ones are moving. i wasn't looking forward to manually unloading them, this is cool.
also another, kinda obvious space trick, if their is a huge surplus of something, but you want it all one place, you can buy it in every country, and use shuttles to transport it where you want. last night their was about 250M ammo upgrades avaible, i used all 7 countries, my ceo with a spending boost to buy them all, and now i'm transporting them to the one country i do upgrades in. it wont take very long, and i'll be set for a while, i do allot of upgrading, in anticipation of high quality weapons and ammo becoming very popular in space, in the future. thats the hope any way.
but with shuttles, you can effectively multiply your spending space, by buying i
