Proposal for a new automation feature

I'm sure many of us (especially those with large empires) spend a significant amount of time every day to switch around professionals to LLW, MLW, HLW just to keep their economies running. It's a boring and mechanized procedure after a while. What's even more so is returning after a break or a holiday to find your countries screwed up with tons of unemployed HTEs and Managers and no MLWs and HLWs (just an example). We 've all gone through the slow process of turning 100.000 people every month.

To correct all this and to let us focus on the real game instead of turning ourselves into typing bots (!) I have two alternate proposals for the GMs:

1. Introduce a new automation feature, where we will be able to set a) high water marks of unemployed for each profession and worker group, b) set maximum number of people from said group that will be automatically moved every month if these water marks are met and c) set priorities for the target worker groups. Example: High Tech Engineers: a) High Water Mark is 40.000 unemployed, b) Maximum allowed to move every month: 20.000, c) Target Priorities: MLW, HLW.

2. If the above proposal is not deemed pheasible, at least lift the limit of 100.000 allowed to change every month, or double it so we can correct things quickly.

If enough people agree I will put it up for a vote. Any opinions, ideas, suggestions?

+1 there should also be an automation feature that allows for indexes to be set at a certain level and then maintained as long as all the workers are available.

Or you guys could simply figure out how to set your education priorities, and what an appropriate number of schools is. It's really not that hard to maintain your pools if you learn how to do it.

Your right it's not hard but when you have lots of countries it tends to get time consuming and it's not like it was ever fun to start out with. And I don't even have that many countries...

Sure lets just automate everything, because you don't have time to manage your empire. Make it too easy and everybody will want 50+ countries. Hell, automate everything, and I'll conquer every free country on Kebir blue.

Yeap, that's the problem with this game...everything's too easy. It doesn't take too much time to do anything. We all need to find jobs to fill our spare time.

+1 You're right. It would be great to automate such a boring chore.
