Think I found out why Chemicals are always in so short of supply. The components that you need to make them every month need almost as many chemicals as the chemical plant makes - like 97%. Doesn't leave much for other plants to use. Lead used 250k tons to make 600k tons of lead and zinc uses 300k tons to make 900k tons. Quite a heavy usage for the output.

Just thought I would point this out.

I know people are going to thing that the companies making commodities do not send all of their product to the chemical plant, I am looking from the perspective of which company to start first. When all the supplies for chemicals appear to be rare too, it leaves one to wonder how to approach the problem of creating their own supply.

For example, if Electric power was increased to 6300, and 12 trucks and 10000 gas0line was added, you could reduce the chemicals to 200,000 from 300,000. I find it strange that mining ops don't use trucks.
