So I have 19 countries and 1 enterprise. I'm in 3 common markets and 2 federations. I would like to be able to group these how I need to as I also keep detailed records of my companies. I only keep track of it for the common market stuff. However, having groups, in which I can name, for that group of same common market of countries and enterprises would help me with organization greatly. I think it would help other to that are large empires like me or anyone that will have a large empire in the future.

In the interim, you can name your countries in a manner that lets you organize your empire better.

I've seen players with strategies like:

war 01
war 02
war 03

eco 01
eco 02

ipo 01
ipo 02

etc.

Unfortunately, I feel like your request is a bit niche and may not get tons of support for implementation. There probably are only a dozen players or so with empires that large on any given world.
