Shortages

The shortages are not realistic. Right now, literally all of my corps are at 0% production because there are random shortages of several items. At this stage we shouldn't have to go in and immediate buy most supplies for ALL corps. Its clear the new system is broke, please address this Andy.

We should all ask Andy to make prices follow supply and demand to make it an issue of inflation, not an issue of shortage.

I guess I'll just leave the game for now and come back in a few days...? Pretty dumb.

No, you should make immediate orders, take loans and finance your country and corporations

You can help all your corporations quickly by following the advice about immediate orders.

on the corporation page, there is a tab "Orders"

you can select all the orders and turn them into immediate orders.
most or all will be delivered directly and all your corporations will be nack to full production.

if not all are delivered, repeat this after several hours, in the next game month.

Keep this on as long as the severe shortages are not resolved.

Better yet to not use up all your time and ingame money: Set Corporations low-watermark to 10 months and order quantity to 20 months.
We are doing that and our corporations work just fine most of the time.
