The region my country is in has a lot of people around and is quite active. It would be super cool to see a newspaper specific to the region and/or continent, like the international newspaper does for the whole world.
Knowing when nearby presidents are going to war, occupying nearby states, or natural disasters in countries I've actually heard of before. would be cool. |

Look at the actions in all the countries in a continent, and make a news story about it. |

True, but that might even be over complicating it a bit. Each country already has a region and continent ID attached to it. The newspaper could just match based on either of those. |
