I just became a paid member... I like it to an extent... I think you should have it till you get to level X Defense index in that country and you can't have it unless you drop your level... For in the real word if you notice, war has a tendency to happen if someone thinks you have too much defense or offense(or they just want what you have not point... :D)... So having said that, set a limit(index) of mandatory removal of protection...
