please correct me, if i am wrong:

1. An enterprise could own not more than 1000 corporations.

2. If an enterprise reaches that limit, the best way to make profit is to own 100 percent of all those corporations, because there are no other owners, who do participate.

1.+ 2. --> In the end, most CEO corporations are privat held corporation.

To change that fact, i suggest to count a controlling part of shareholings not as one full corporation.

For example: If a CEO holds 25 percent of a pulpic corporation and is the major shareholder, then this should count only as 0.25 corporations in his list.

What do you think?

Ok, your wrong so I will correct you.
You can only "BID" or "Build" 750 private corps in you enterprise. After 750 you must aquire corps via the share market. Once you have purchased 100% of the shares, the corp will go private again. Therefore there is no "LIMIT".
Game docs are out-dated regarding this matter.

Ok, thank you, for that info!

But this does not change main problem, doesen't it?

The CEO's BID or BUILD the first 750 corporations and aquire the last 250 via the share market.

In the end all CEO's hold 1000 privat corporation in order to maximize their profit. Or did i missunderstand you?

CEOs can own an unlimited number of corps. They can buy (bid) or open no more than 750 corps. They can buy controlling shares of an unlimited number of corps.

The big problem in the share market is that there is not enough capital.

Someone has to buy shares but few players actively buy shares. That only leaves the country investment funds that have automated share buying as the principal source of capital. But the typical c3 only has $15 billion cash in its country investment funds, which is almost nothing.

Consequently, there is an inadequate demand for shares.

Real years ago, c3s usually had about $1 trillion cash in country investment funds. The share market seemed much more active. Non-public corps regularly did automatic IPOs when they reached a market value of, I believe, $200 billion. The servers allowed mostly instantaneous share transactions during most of each game month. Back then, 80% of the time that I played I focused on the share market, and I could earn $trillions per real day. I was a Simcountry day trader. I miss the good old days.
