I am at war, some of my units cant cross the border...unit log says I am not at war with the coutry... the units that do cross the border do not paint taken land! This war will cost a lot more money without painting than it should be costing me. Grumble grumble grumble!

I have noticed recently that there is a small lag of about two game days between the war becoming active and the units being able to cross the border.

Previously, you could cross the border and start painting as soon as the declarations were in, but that was changed (probably in the interests of fairness to the defending country).

I assume that the small delay that we see currently is part of that fix - if I'm wrong, hopefully some more knowledgable folk will provide more info in this thread.

I have experienced the same thing when attacking a c3, you just have to be patient....really patient. It sucks, but eventually they do let you in.
