WOT NO AMMO?
I have a problem during war. I set out my unit with just over the amount of ammo needed and leaving plenty of Ammo in the base. I attack target with unit. Dismantle unit. Re-set up unit. But sometimes it shows me that the ammo I had left in the unit after the attack is all I have left in my base. After a couple of hours the ammo re-appears. This is not good. When I attack I want to keep on going. Not have to stop every so often. STRESSSSSSSSSSSS!
Just to let you know

It seems to happen after the third time of dismantling

Why does it do that? It puts all of my OA2A missiles, Attack drone missiles and P bombs into one supply unit after the third time of dismantling? It's not just a few for re-supplying either. It's 1000's of them. All in one supply unit.

I'm curious, why not deploy all the weapons you need after the first dismantle?
I assume you can dismantle the supply unit too?
Honestly I don't know why W3C programs anything the way they do. However, I can throw out a wild guess. It takes processor time dealing with army units. If you buy and sell stuff in the markets the server has to deal with one inventory (actually 2 but that involves 2 actions on 2 accounts). If you create 100 units and then dismantle 100 units the server has to adjust 101 inventories. 100 items also have to be added or subtracted from the maps. The map is handled separately from your country. A group of players discussing optimum division composition in chat could cause a several empires and a lot of countries to change all of their divisions. Real players of Simcountry will make various WTF responses like posting a complaint here or trying to buy the missing units. An automated bot attack on W3C's servers would not be able to make unique complaints. Since there is a way around the problem and it automatically disappears in a few hours it should not have an adverse effect on game play.

It's just one unit that I was dismantling and re-assembling. Reason being, I ony have enough of one type of weapon to create one unit.
I can dismantle the supply unit. It ws just a pain before I found out where all my ammo was going.
Thanks for the reply Pathetic sheep.

I tested it when they launched the new war engine. I also remember a post on the forum saying that mil. units and supply units are making a move once in 5 minutes and all transfers between bases and units are taken care of during these 5 minute steps.
also, the accounting of weapons and ammunition is wrong. The counting of weapons does not include the weapons and ammunition in the units so they disappear and then later appear again and numbers are incorrect part of the time.
the weapons and ammunition are not lost but not counted.
This is why you see changes when you set up units.
supply units only carry weapons when a unit becomes incomplete. This can be after losses in a fight or if you change the composition of the unit. supply units will load and unload weapons from units and try to bring the unit to its complete size.
