That's some freaky stuff man. I haven't ever had such a problem. You're saying that you were charged but never got your population? Have you gotten it yet? Sometimes it takes awhile, perhaps you made this post preemptively? Let us know what happens, I am pulling for ya man.

That has happened to me several times and with varying amounts of population.

The last time it happened to me was a few weeks back and it took me a while to get my country out of the mess it was left in. I added 5M population. I got the LLWs ok, loads of them, but did I get a single nurse, teacher, doctor, senior doctor or university teacher to cover the fall in indexes created by a population boost?

No such luck. I didn't get a single one, other than those created by the country's education system.

I have emailed the GM about it, but it has never got me anywhere.

The population will arrive eventually, but it takes a while, comes in bits and pieces and I'm still not convinced I received everything I should have. This makes planning unnecessarily difficult, particularly getting CEO investment. You should be able to just post in the forum that you have added population and then accept the forthcoming requests. However, the reality is that if your population isn't added as it should be, you will have to CONSTANTLY monitor the worker situation, make adjustments as and when required and add new corp requests one at a time, possibly over several weeks for say a boost of 5 million.

THIS IS NOT GOOD!

From my own experience, it happens in some countries occasionally, but not at all in others.

My LU main has suffered the most with this problem. I won't be adding any further population to that country, preferring instead to just let it grow naturally.

The GM can deny this happens all they like, but it does happen and it is a problem.

Of course you guys are remembering that the workers received will be in proportions equivalent to the existing worker distribution?

I cannot imagine this actually happening. but if it really does please list your country name and world that it's in so I can have a look if you're really not getting your new populatation.

Cheers,

I bought 1 million population each for my countries, Valley Forge and United We Stand, on June 10 at 04:44 and 04:46. Neither one of these countries have been credited much of the population increase in the past two days if any at all.

I also attempted to transfer population from Valley Forge to United We Stand, which is at war. This transfer though annotated correctly in the population figures of both countries never showed up in the education priority settings section of either country.

Valley Forge and United We Stand both located in White Giant.

Thank you,
Joe

Population increased. It always does.
look at the graphs, they all jumped.

You have also mailed us and received and answer.

population increase does not show up in education.
the number of kids grows, so you need more schools etc.

You have more teachers, so you need to build these schools.

When population is paid for, it always shows up.

The total may show the increase immediately while the distribution into the age and professional groups may take several hours but it always happens.

we get mail from time to time claiming the contrary but then ALWAYS, we can see on the population graphs and in our logs that it did take place.

so please check again. This function is nearly as old as the game.

Tom,

I finally found the email and it was directed to the spam box. A belated "Thank you" for that prompt reply.

This is funny. What Kiteless said is totally true. I get all my population all at once, but sometimes its slow. I bought pop the past week, day one Pop=10.5M Up 1.5. Same story till day 7. Pop 17.5M Up 31k. Something wrong maybe? it does show i got the pop in my pop growth graph though.
