When creating a new Land Unit (Missile Defense Div), it goes to the page to assign the unit to a Base. After which it will not allow any assignments. Assin by list gives no reaction, assign by map just gives a meesage that the unit can be assigned to an Off Base.

Sugar :(
Since my last post the assignment list has worked and has stopped again.
And now with messing about waiting for the list to work again all the countries I was at war with (and had painted) have now stopped the wars. The only way I can assign units to bases is to dismantle all supply units and D wings so I could click on the bases on the map (did that then the wars ended). Not good. Luckily they were just C3 countries. But if I was at war with a real person I wouldn't like to have to dismantle my D wings to set up O wings.
Could you have a look and see whats up :)
Thanks

Oh yea... Also I declared on a C3 and the next day it has a president.......in secure mode???????
I've assured the president that I wont attack them, but it's not a good start to the game for them.

WOT GO ON?
Another C3 that I'm at war with has taken on a new president. I didn't think you could select a country, when you first start, that is at war?
Anyways........This is giving me a bad rep with my new neighbours.

This problem with the assignment list is starting to do my head in.
How the hell am I supposed to deal with things when I can't even set up a unit without having to dismantle any supply unit that's docked with the base?
Pleeeeeeeease sort it out :)

Some possible, limited relief. Uninstall the java runtime environment from "Add/remove programs" (xp and earlier) or "Programs and Features" (vista, sorry don't know what they're calling it in 7) should be referenced as either Java Runtime Environment or Java 6 update 16. Then just pay a visit to http://www.java.com/ and download the latest version of java (Java 6 update 17). If you already have Java 6 update 17, then this possibly wouldn't make a difference (unless the install is bugged).

Some issues also appear to exist with stored session information on occasion, but it seems resolvable with a swing back out to the portal page and re-entering at that point.
