Hi, I have now for some time keept an eye with my trade strategies in my country AlienSpaceCenterEast and have found, that some values are changed over night, with the result of Unsold Products too high?

I want to have control on this but feel it is not possible to have any control here.

I am a full member and use the follow quality strategy. What is wrong here???

What were the sets values you use, and what were they changed to?

I would imagine you having economic and beginners protection box checked on your automation page, if something is changing. This has happened to me before but I was not told why when it did. I think it is tied to not logging in for an extended period of time, but that shouldn't be the case with you.

Hello Psycho, thanks for reply.

It came to my mind, that it could be because of changing supply quality? I have Supply Quality set to "Any Quality" (because I dont fully understand it) and thats maybe why it changes, -not the value I set but the value of product quality is changing? Could it be the reason?

I think...

How can it be, that every time I update the trade strategies for my state corps., that the sale price I set (follow quality), increases with one procent?

Okay, this is not happening for all my corps., but for a single corp. Household Products?

I mean, why is it changing to another value than I choose? What is going on here. If I set it to a given value, I want that value to be constant and not changing...

This is toal chaos...

I was lucky that I kept an eye with it and have my list with the numbers, or I had been forced to start all over again.

Every time I push the "Set strategy"-button on the Trade Strategies page for state corps., the values changes (increases with 1%) for some corps. but not for all of them..?

Please fix it

General Jeremiah it happens to me from time to time. Make sure you set your strats on the automation page as well as on the corporation page.

i found the automation page doesnt change but it changes on the corporation page. In fact I just looked and it happened again.

Its happening to me too. Every time I change the 'trade strategy' to a product quality based strategy with the following:

Trade quality by: 10
If unsold, decrease the price by: 1%

It automatically sets it back to different figures (which are lower than the product quality and the monthly decrease is always 10%).

After making these changes, I have also checked the option that states that I want to stick to these changes, but it doesn't seem to work.

What else can I do?

I think its an auto help system that may recognise your country as being in serious trouble so it tries to set things to where it could gradually get out of trouble. Until game level 3 or 4 there's not much you can do about it except get your indexes up. Once your country looks like it is managing I think the auto 'help' (lol) wont kick in.

If all you guys and Gals that write about this issue were to email the GM nicely and explain the problems you are getting they might review how it works. There are far too many reported instances of this for players to take the blame for being stupid, and if it is player error then there should be an item posted about how it works and what players should do to avoid it

Trade Strats are reset from time to time (maybe server updates?).

One trick I've found.... set your Automated System settings for new corps to your current strat. When they reset, they should reset to the values in Automated Settings.
