Units out of range (Fearless Blue)

I tried to send ingame message to the GM but it did not work.
Ok. I'm fighting a C3 named La Republica del Solanna bora. The target list tells me there are ground defence units 8000km away from me. The country is a neighbour. I have ground units in that country plus a air attack wing up. All out of range. So.....how do I destroy these units? Plus..........What the hell are defencive ground units doing 8000km away?

Only thing I can think of is they are remote base/s left from a previous pres.
Cant you take the C3 leaving those units alone?

Can do. Just that I'm shuttling ammo and equipment from LU and I've not taken a C3 since they have changed the program. All is well if you dont need to destroy all units

i've noticed this allot. couldn't explain it. but often the c3 ground units are a long ways away.

Suggest you guys give more details here and mail GM with them as well. Sounds like something he should look at but I'm guessing he would need more detail.

I'm in the C3 with ground and air units.
I have decided to increase my war levels and I could do with being able to destroy these targets. The level 3 C3 I have just taken had no viable D ground units either. I took it no problem. I'm just worried for when I get to the top levels just how much of a difference its going to make if I can not destroy them.

I have this problem with state corps mostly. I can target them but they never seem to be in range of any arms. Pisses me off royally.
