Direct Trade listings: Mulitples listings by same leader, small "windows" (White Giant)

The Direct Trade page for Gold Coin and SC$ exchange should be really easy to use. However, "whoever" is responsible for it, is once again, "failing".

The --same leaders-- are making almost always --two identical offers-- sometimes, 3 or more. Absolutely, "there is no need" for that, and just creates clutter, and problems with the "lists".

Moreover, the "windows" keep "changing sizes". It's too obvious that "whoever" is responsible for programming those, is "manipulating" the "window size" so that only a few listings can be seen at a time. The "windows" are --much too small-- and there is a --huge amount of space wasted-- on that page, simply because "someone" won't make the "windows" larger. Once again, "there is no need" to have "windows" only display 3 (currently) listings, sometimes it changes to 4, but always

Sorry to say, I have been here long enough to recognise most of 'issues' that you and your kind bring up. They are not new, they have been discussed and in most part the GM has responded with explanation. You will find that 99% of problems experienced are due to player error.

This is how ridiculous it gets:

"aphase" had no less than 14 separate listings for selling Gold Coins at one time...each one at 1 Gold Coin offered each...so, it took, 1 click to see the offer, another to accept, another to -return- to the buy/sell page, then repeat 14 times...so about 50+ clicks and 'window loads', when it should have only been 2 or 3. Not to mention, that it needlessly blocked out other sellers to 16th and beyond on the 'waiting list to sell'. This is equivalent to 'spamming' the listings, and "there is no need".

I'm afraid all jokes aside I have to agree with CP. Depending on the interface you use to access sim, the scroll option just isn't reliable. On certain cell-phones each scroll attempt would have to be loaded and a player might avoid scrolling down altogether. Some players never new that they could scroll down. This was acknowledged by w3c and the 'best deal' tag was added so players were not confused.

All things considered I have to second this motion.

If the isue is the single listings, then this could be improved, yes. And if there is a max of 16 offers displayable (which I didnt realise) then yes.

If you have a suggestion to improve this then it belongs in the 'suggestion' forum.

There are lots of shortfalls from using mobile devices and it applies to all web sites, not W3Cs alone. The 'fault' there is down to the device not the site.
