I am new to the game but I do know how to add and subtract.

I am having a problem when it comes to contracts.

I have a corporation (FMU's) produces 650 units per month and shows it produced it that month.
Now I have another corporation that needs 3fmu's per month, So I propose a contract for 3 fmu's to the reciever, Reciever accepts contract. following month red flashing occured and stated my fmu corporation did not fill the contract and that I should not contract more than I produce. so I look and have no other contracts not even to the country or on the common market other than the one contracts for 3 units. So if my corporation produces 650 units a month, Why can't it meet the 3 units requested?????? Now this is happening to all my corporations. So I cancel all contracts and outsourse to other country corporations. Request exact amount, I am sent proposals for exactly what I ask for, Now corprorations are say that supply contracts not being met. Now my corporations are shutting down because I can't get the supplies needed. Oh wait I can get it if I go to world market and pay 3x the cost and then, cost my corporation to take loss on every purchase. so can I get some answers to whats going on? I need 3 out of 650. why is it I can't get 3 out of 650.....

This bit of help is probably something you have done, but check you have the automatically reserve product for contracts set to on. There's a page where you can make all corp settings like upgrade, auto selling, auto buying, and automatically reserve product for contracts.
On top of that I would also do each corp you are contracting manually from the corp page, there's link for it, chose manual and do it yourself or auto as you like.

All contract amounts are reserved and shows that they are reserved, And still showing that not producing enough to fill contracts. And doing manually each contract on corporation page is what I always do. Still showing same. So this is one more country I canceled due to problems like this. So back to square one for me. This time I will just contract full production to country. See how long I last doing that or if I will even grow.

It wont be just one country doing it Mark so something was wrong with your set up or you found a game glitch.

And honestly, for most all products it works out cheaper to buy and sell on the world market. You pay market price for what you order adjusted with quality but you sell at market price adjusted for quality plus a profit overhead you set. (selling 200Q product at 230 or whatever). So you make more. This is very basic and some self contracting can work well, but unless you are an econ genius far better than most here I would advise you use world market.
