I know it isn't a part of the game that many players do "by hand", but the stock market has really become broken since the update to limit how many corporations any computer controlled fund will invest in.

There simply are no buyers at all for many stocks. I have a few stocks that I have been trying to sell "at the market" for DECADES now. Some of these stocks have greatly "risen" in "value", even split, but there are never any buyers. Some of the stocks have gone through multiple cycles of their stock peaking out, crashing, bottoming out, and again rising to a new peak.

It used to be that you could count on being able to sell a stock while it was rising - but now that is not the case.

Truly, it might be better if the entire stock system was overhauled - I do not like the artificial and fake "market" prices, and whoever is calculating P/E ratios is on drugs! And why not have stated dividends like real stocks too?

Sorry for the drift here, I started out reporting a problem, and am drifting into the suggestion arena now. :-)

Cheers,

John Gilbert

And now it looks as if the "auto buying" of stocks is completely turned off. I went through many many many pages of the stock market just now, and didn't see a single stock that had any trades this month.

This is on Little Upsilon.
