On LU, SE Lacerta 2, osso light tank ammo and Lundar light artillery shells, both state corps, make a product of Q235. The trade strat asks for 30 over. Now I know I wont get 265 price but I expect +/- 10% of produced quality x market price. All these corps are receiving is 1.8 x market price, 50 points below Q produced!

They sell out, product in high demand, every month. I make near Q250 and figure this is going to be close to the max Q250 people will ask for as they are ammunition and generally bought at high quality.

So surely I should be seeing at least 2.25 of market, the corps just aren't worth running at this income. Any reasons you can offer?

@crafty,

There were already hundreds of thread complaining saying that trade strategy is broken, lol.
I also wrote few thread on this when i first came back month ago.

I help Andy answer, `It doesn`t make sense for buyer to pay for anythng above its quality`
Andy also says `Leave your TS at default and that is quality -10 to ensure that they will be sold.`

Andy uses this standard answer in mumerous thread.

Now Trade strategy is useless, don`t bother about +10,+20,+30 or +50. I tried to experiemnt and the income is always the same. They were all pre-set, depending on what type of corp.

Some corp sells -10 below quality, some -20,-30,-40,-50. And it doesn`t matter what TS u set, those corps will always sell at the same quality.

Yep, I'm after knowing this set up currently, I am having problem, big big problem, with selling 50 points of monies under what it is the factory is after making. Recommended to sell under at -10? but then I get -50? on high quality in very much demand ammunition which is most often bought at the high quality.

And no, they wont always sell at the same quality. It very much depends on the quality you produce.

Im thanking again very very much maybe the master of the game can be looking and telling to me the reasons it is for this.

"to ensure that they will be sold" I still don't like that copout with such heavy shortages going on

WHat i meant was different corp sells at different (Q-10),(Q-20),(Q-30).....so on and so forth.

For eg. Once Q max at 315, if that corp is selling at 285(Q-30), it will always sell at 285+- couple of points. No matter what TS u set, it will always sells at the same Q.

I've been listening to what Andy says about this. Ok, I agree, if your making 300Q for example and trying to get 350 or such then there is going to be very little demand unless the shortage is such that orders are immediate (where you pay any price to get stuff and your order is processed first). But even in green markets these corps will sell all every month but at highly reduced price from what you produce/ask. It is extremely rare for me to see 'some left' or 'too high' except one or two corps that cant sell on the open market.

And on the other side of the coin, my ammo corps which make and try to sell at about Q250, which is a price for quality that many are willing to pay (in fact Andy has said as much) in very red markets cant get paid that 250, they get 200. I still receive 250 ammo if I order it so where is the difference going?

Goodness gracious me. Crafty.

Yeah, it doesn`t make sense. It doesn`t make sense for people to pay more than quality. Same it also doesn`t make sense for seller to sell below quality.

This is what W3C wants. This day there isn`t `some left` or `too high` anymore. After 7th of the month, they will all be processed. System will sell them at pre-determined price for us.

TS don`t apply.Demand and supply rule also don`t apply. The red and green bar is just for show.

I'd really like to see Andy in the middle of Sahara diing of thirst and telling me right into my face that he doesnt want my Premium-Glacier-Water for 100$ per liter because it doesnt make sense to buy products above market-price ;)
