I got high Education index above 210 in my country, education priorities above 120 total and still have increasing numbers of LLW, about 1/4 of total workforce and about 35% of them unemployed while I dont have enough higher qualified workforce to get those LLW into work.

Any Idea how this can be solved without building even more schools?

There are caps on the number of unemployed "educated" workers in each category. The system won't educate workers past this cap. This is likely what is causing you to have so many unemployed LLW. Building corporations is the solution.

If you upgrade corporation efficiency, a number of LLW will also be layed off in favour of educated labour.

So a side effect of upgrading may be a lower demand for LLW. Consider building a mining corporation or something else that uses a high proportion of LLWs compared to educated labour.

BTW: setting total education priorities to over 120 doesn't accomplish anything. Reduce it back down to be sure that your overall priorities are in fact what you intended them to be.

Mizore, as I said I dont have enough high educated peeps to get those LLW into work, I got enough HTE for about max 4 Corps depending on the type of corp (meaning 4 if I use Agricultural ones)but have enough LLW for 40+ Corps. But thanks for your reply.

sbroccoli, I know about the basics but thanks for your reply.

Any other Ideas but closing High Tech Corps to build Low Tech Corps?

Without building new corps, you'll have to wait for the LLWs to get educated to replace the aging HTs when they retire.
Also Borg Queen, make sure your edu priorities total 120 and nothing more.

Borg, sorry, but you don't know the basics if you set your edu priorities higher than 120.

Borg Queen. It often helps to advertise for swaps of your LLW for others HT workers. I often have the reverse problem of that which you do.

State your world and country name, I'm sure you'll get replies, one from me if you're on the right world.

Ok, I'll bring this up again as I still have the same problem.
Its Unimatrix 01 on KB.
The funny thing is that I have 4 Countries and only my main country has that problem, the other 3 have perfectly low numbers on LLW compared to the other work groups.
All countries have Edu-Index ~ 200 and Edu-Prios at 120+ and still my maincountry is still the only one with that problem.
I allready exchanged workers with my slave countries and well, the slave countries have reeducated the surplus of LLW quite fast, but my main country doesnt

I took a look at Unimatrix 01. You have a bunch of LLWs, because they don't have other opportunities to explore.

Just build a bunch of corporations and they will begin to educate them into high tech geeks in no time. That's what I'm doing in Lance of Longinus and it is progressing rather nicely.

So you are suggesting job opportunities have to exist for the education system to produce skilled workers?

Kind of. Trained workers revert back to LLWs if they remain unemployed.

Also, contrary to Keto's advice, if you set your edu priorities to 160, 180, or even 200 temporarily it will produce professionals much faster.

I have very high pop 100m+ countries and some all the way down to 35m I manage and I never use 120 edu priorities. In fact I have to convert workers manually to to all worker groups. My edu priorities avg to about 150 - 180
