What is wrong with this game? You have corporations who go into debt and receive loans so you go to pay off loan...says corporation has not enough cash...you go to Profits, Cash, etc tab and put cash into ALL CORPORATIONS (ok to me this says I just gave ALL my corporations cash to fill their own accounts so they should be able to pay anything off including loans) but it does not work.

Why? This is stupid and make no sense. You should be able to pay off loan from company by giving company cash from country. How hard is that to figure out? Why this not working properly?

Found this out myself on one of my public companies...very strange you cannot give them money to settle debts...and I agree with you that this makes absolutely no sense.

I ended up closing the company since its bleeding me dry with loans and losing workers so it will never be productive again.

What a weird way to work these companies - there needs to be a way to fix this since private companies work just fine. As a public company you only have the difference of stocks/shres on the market.

who should give public corporation cash?
one share holder, the biggest?
this is not how it works.

public corporations are PUBLIC. you can get cash from the public.
these corporations, like in the real world, can sell shares to raise cash.
when they have a surplus of cash, they can buy back some of their shares.

trading shares, will of course change the ownership percentages.

if you do not want all this, sell your shares, get rid of the public corporations, and start state corporations (or private ones).

Why not just do away with public corps altogether Andy, that would seem to fit your direction for the game.

Andy....Public Corporation bailouts ever heard of them? The Government pays it...so in this case...the Government owner i.e. the Country Owner would be paying for it exactly like the State run corporations. If any country in the world can bailout any corporation (that is private, public, state, nationalized, etc) then why would you not allow it here as well?
