I'll lose my country because I'm premium?!?

I just checked "membership details"

And apparently, because I got premium, my country is put on a timer, and needs to be paid and maintained to keep.

Why? Why do I need to upkeep it with gold coins? I just bought premium membership and now it has a "yours until" timer on it.

So, now I have to pay for premium over and over, renewing it to keep it? Ridiculous!!!!

Is there any way to permanently own my country so that even when premium expires, I keep the darn thing?

And by permanent, I mean permanent!

I just wish there was a way to perma-bind a country to my account so I can't even delete it.
