Corporations closed with money in them.

Yesterday i transfers 120 months of plutonium into my corporations in Melichor on LU.

I also made sure to transfered money to bring them each to 40B cash holdings to cover the costs. Yet for some reason it didn't take. I logged on to find out that those corporations have closed. Can you Check this out please?

I doubt that you'll be able to uncancel them. (i keep them because as you can see i have had them FOR YEARS had a sentimental value). But they shouldn't auto close if they had the appropriate cash assets in them. I'm just wondering if you can investigate and let me know what happened?

The cash came probably too late.
corporations never close for no reason.

Long before they close there is a warning showing on the page to alert you that the corporation is in debt.

In addition, there is a message on the newspaper for every corporations that is being closed with some more info.

In this case, there are more than 10 such messages, all about high debt.
The warnings are showing for a long time before the corporations close.

At the time they were closed, there was no cash.
The cash log shows that there were large cash shortages at the time they closed and the cash shortages were settled by your country.

I was wondering because i know they auto close with high debt. But like i said if you check the listings they closed in 3-4 month period. That's not much time to be ale to do anything, exp if someone goes to sleep.

Either way i appreciate you investigating it. I will now move to mourning my corporations. Thanks for your help

I believe it takes at least a week between the alert messages appear and the bankruptcy of these corporations.

You might want you double check.
Becuase i had 12+ corps are close with in a very small time frame. I put sold assets then they closed.
If the GM can find the month i transferred the assets into the corps and the time they closed that would be helpful to prevent an issue like this again.

It was too long after the facts.
there is a very detailed log showing you all the money transactions.

It was added to allow you to check things and see for yourself where the money came from or where it has gone.

Please check next time, on time and we will look into it.
we have not found any corporations in the game that was closed for no reason for a very very long time.

there are many controls in place to prevent this. It would have been very serious.

There might be a problem though. Not long ago I built and oil corp, and super boosted it. It closed without warning citing poor performance of some kind. It was gone built and gone in two days. I just didn't superboost anything anymore and haven't had any more of that.

It was not gone for "poor performance of some kind" but rather for a very good reason and its closing, and the reason for its closing was reported on the country newspaper.

Yes, Andy there was a reason cited in the paper, I just don't remember what it was. It was something about not making profit for a long time. It's not relevent to my point.

I was simply trying corroborate what super is saying, it clearly doesn't take a week for the corp to close. That corp closed less than 3 days after I built it.

you are right.

if conditions deteriorate very quickly, it could in theory happen.

Normally, a corporation that is making losses, will take some loans and when a certain limit is passes, there will be an alert.

if the situation continues, it normally will take many days before the second limit is reached and the corporation bankrupts.

If however, you stop selling, keep the product in stock, keep producing without supporting the corporation, it could decline faster and the time between reaching the two limits might become shorter.

Two of very profitable Country Controlled Public Corporations has been closed.
Before they close, there isn't a sign on the corporations list showing that the corporation has a single problem.
the problem hasn't shows on the page of the corporation itself.
