Andy this is the 2nd time this has happend. My mobile supply units ammo won't upgrade AGAIN!!!! They should be @ 600Q by now. But AGAIN they stopped upgrading. Smokes wrath on fb. I don't know why I'm the only one having this problem.

i have that problem, but i'm not sure its that they don't upgrade, my theory is that the normal ammo usage/replacement, down grades the ammo, with LTA being used and replaced at a lower ammount, it keeps the unit from upgrading past a certain point, but regardless of the cause, it makes those units kinda pointless

There is a limit and 600 seems very high.
I will however have it checked.

Hi orbiter atleast I'm not the only one. 600Q seems very high? Well if the Q was 200 and I am putting up 330Q weapons and ammo they would lose the 330Q. Does that seam right? So I build mobile supply units to get the 600Q to boost the 330Q. But that's how you guys setup the supply chain. So if its there I'm gonna do a higher Q supply unit to boost the Q instead of losing the Q. Thanks for checking it out Andy. Let me know what happens.

not to mention, it wasn't players that set the 600 limit on mobiles, it was the GM that wanted create value in mobiles, so that players would spend GC for professional soldiers, or buy them on the space station
for some of the mobile units, they are only worth anything at 600Q, like I-wings, why buy soldiers for something that can do the same w/o? so those guys need the higher Q to be worth anything.
some units like mobile land, and attack are a waste of server space. they where designed to be versatile, but don't have enough weapons of any type to be able to challenge anything, making them the opposite of useful.
80 MRMB even at 600Q is totally out classed by anything you'd want to shoot it at. now a mobile land unit with 400 MRMB, or 300 MRMB and 100 OAAMB, or 200 MRMB and 200 HT.

@SirSmokesAlot: I have checked the upgrading of your Supply Units.
The upgrading works fine but the units are also replenished with ammo every month. They are replenished with ammo of quality 147 which make
the avg ammo quality in your units drop a little more than 2 points.
If you stop the upgrading you will see the ammo quality of your units drop.
You can improve the quality of your units by ordering higher quality ammo in your country, but 600 is out of reach.
This will improve when we (and we will) allow upgrading of ammo in countries.

So my light art and tank ammo is killing the Q of my units. I'll have to sell and buy @330Q. I could get the Q up to 450 by setting up units and upgrading the ammo. Would 450q help then?

Orbiter has a point those units are worthless cuz there's not enough weapons in the unit. The land units should let us select the weapons we want.

i've asked them about that in the past, they wont allow you to select the weapons for mobiles, because they want solid templates for selling on the space station, so if you buy a unit, you know whats in it, i've talked to them before about this, its another one of those thing that they refuse to change, no matter how obvious it is that it isn't working
about the ammo upgrades, i've been doing that, but i'd have to say its kinda pointless, when you upgrading LTA, it takes allot of upgrades. the GM have promised to create a low cost upgrade for things like tanks and artillery, but have still to deliver,
shrug, i guess their are allot of other things to work on, tanks and such only really shoot at each other, and everything else that shoots at them, uses more expensive missiles.
