Remove the defense against navys

the defense prevents my ability to gain resources from computer control countrys. i can,t even do one attack without my cruise missile ships being completely wiped out and now the navy is completely useless for war .

No it's not my friend,just have to change the way you wage war.use long range weapons to destroy the air defense,helicopters/interceptors.there are several weapons system's that have a longer range than the 7000 mile range of the defensive helicopters

It's not possible to do that Jamie. Firing from beyond there max range doesn't work. Heli's will still kill your con batts from 10000K away. In effect they have no range maximum. Atleast they never used to. Haven't tried it in a while.

It still isn't possible. But you can always land an appropriate number of LRDs with OAAMBs with MRBs for cover and take out the helicopters easily. (OAA and MR missiles on sale now lol)

Yep. That's why I think the navies will now be useless. When you have to get in range with your OAAMB's/MRMB's then you may aswell use them to attack the targets after you break the helis

That's true. I do like to fire cruise missiles but with all the other weapons a carrier needs, I dunno if I like it that much

Also I just realized the range of cruise missiles ship based is no longer 6000, it's 5500.

Attacking with the navy only is obviously not the way.
as said here, you need to destroy the air defense. Range can be a problem.

At that level, you should probably conquer a country closer to the target. It is possible to attack a C3 at war level 3 exactly for this reason, then attack the country at closer range.

No weapons, not even the navy, should be allowed to attack without any risk of being hit back hard.

We have looked into the attacks on the navy, they are less damaging now but damaging enough.

Obviously some have managed to do it and are at the point of moving up to war level 14.

You lowered the heli and intercepter wing's from 130 to 125! In my empire I have several hundred of both.I paid for 130 per unit not 125. I expect reimbursement for all the heli and interceptors you took from me.

JBB, I don't think they lowered the numbers in existing wings. I still have all of mine at 130. But if they do ever lower the numbers in existing wings then I would agree with you.

We lowered many times before to reduce the losses in war and the cost of war.

if units become smaller, the weapons are not lost but stay in the country and can be used for new wings or to replace losses.
