More information on what is being traded would be helpful. I would guess that you are trying to arrange a private sale of a country or enterprise for gold coins. If this is the case, I believe that this feature was changed to run its course for 24 hours and accept all bids by design.

This best bid does not exceed the minimum requested price of ----------- and is therefore not automatically accepted. However, if you want you can accept a bid here manually. There is no where to accept a manual bid nor too retract the offer.

You have not clarified what you are trying to do. I agree the page is confusing. Simply removing the indication you can accept a bid or retract your sale once a bid has been made seems in order. I can not think of a compelling reason why you should be able to do either.
