I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem. Over the past few weeks, my main on KB is having sudden and massive shortages of a variety of products; no rhyme or reason. Before this, I have not adjusted my purchasing strategies and there have always been enough supply. I adjusted it a little recently, the water marks and amounts to purchase but I'm still left with having to do immediate orders. I noticed that my spending limits are at 0 whenever this happens and I cannot see where this is happening on the logs.

Just wondering if this is just my country..

Yep and its cost me about 30T or so. Every time I log in most of my countries were in massive debt and negative cash. I paid it, sometimes my automations were reset and buying strategies and quality were set to any and mostly immediate orders. Explains the cash drain. I think maybe some of the updates may have caused this. It pays to stay active and check your stuff out.

If you haven't fixed it, I suggest you look over your country order strategies and qualities and adjust them. That seemed to fix the problem for most of my countries. I figure I shouldn't complain, I'll make it back. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks, I was wondering if it was just me. My order strategies are still the same. The immediate purchases are draining my funds and eliminating my spending limits thus prohibiting me from my regular monthly purchases. It's like an endless cycle. Which updates do you think caused this?

It might not have been an update and it was probably a poor assumption on my part. I was talking it over with Aries and I realized I let my game level drop below 4 and perhaps some of the economic protections kicked in and caused the reset of my corp and country supply strategies.

I also had a bankruptcy message although my country was not anywhere near bankrupt, also potentially causing the reset. This most likely occurred during a recent period where i didn't log in for a few weeks.

Did your game level recently drop below 4 or have you had any period where you didn't log in and your cash went negative, even if it was temporary? If so that is more likely to have played a role in this.

If we take some time away we should also be sure our game level is stable and our countries have enough cash in them to stay afloat until we return to prevent these things from taking over and making the problem worse.

The game level did drop I believe, but a while ago. I check everyday and was never negative in the case. The spending space was the issue for some reason. I had to do spending space boosts and now trying to do regular manual purchases and not instant, to see what happens.

I agree to your last point to, we should have some sort of means of taking time off without baby sitting this daily. :)

It is difficult to foresee this indeed, especially if cash drops suddenly. Let me know how things go I have managed to stop the bleeding in my empires so it looks like I am in the clear.

so far so good here too. The spending space boost seemed to do it; I never had a cash shortage in the country in question, but it still took a hit.
