Matthewn50,

Please provide the Name of your Country, and the World it is on. Or no one will be able to look into it.

Additionally, when having issues, it is best to raise them immediately. Because the game only keeps detailed records of data for a few days.

Not having workers for full production is probably due to a shortage of 1 or 2 types of workers. Check you Education Priorities page, it will show you the number of available workers in each profession. Increase the priority where needed.

Population arrives distributed to all professions. Check the graph for your population to see if there are sharp increases.

Matthewn50,

Thank you for providing the relevant information.

Looking at your Country England on LU, I can see that the population was added to your country. I see two jumps of +2 million pop each in your population history chart.

Looking into your Employment data. I was able to identify the reason for your workforce shortage problem. You have a large shortage of High Tech Executives, and High Tech Engineers. As well a smaller shortage of High Tech Seniors. Meanwhile, you have an oversupply of most types of managers.

Reducing the Priorities of the four manager professions, and raising the priorities of the High Tech professionals, should correct this problem over time.

Ok thanks for looking. i will get some prioitys changed. I am a little confused, so the population i brought would not fill the gaps in my Profession list. Lets say i brought 10m population would they not be spread across the list of Professionals waiting to be employed.

Matthew50,

When you buy population, it is distributed in the same way as your existing population. So, if most of your people are managers, most of the new population will be managers. If most of your population is young, then most of the new people will be young, if your population is old, most of the new people will be old, etc.

Buying population simply increases the total size of your population, it does nothing to alter overall demographic distribution, or education levels.
