Andy,

So I have a very stable nation, huge education levels, and a shrinking population. Yet my LLW are growing at exponential levels and IDK why. Not sure if this is a bug, but please any help would be welcome.

Andy,

Check my nation of Melichor on LU. All other worker types are declining and overall pop is shrinking. Despite a very high educational index LLW are growing by large numbers. This seems to be a common theme I'm seeing. I think the GM might need to investigate educational or worker numbers.

Would agree here definatly. Some corperations need way to many medium level workers!! Its another problem, but really my point is that alot of these corps need more medium level workers then low level. I think how low level workers convert to medium levels should be affected or increased; same as medium to high level. I seem to have an issue with a lot of medium level and high level workers! But none with low.

However, yeah i took a look just for myself and yeah.. strange really should be looked into. Similar in regard to my other countrys with such medium level worker and high level worker problems. The LLW growth is abnormal though.

Supersoldier.
I will have a look at the country.

IIIIIIII etc.

When you upgrade a corporation, the number of low level workers needed is declining faster than other groups.

you can end up with more medium level workers than LLWs needed.

Upgraded corporations get a better deal than before and hire smaller numbers. It happened in small steps in the past year and added profitability to corporations by reducing the cost of work they pay.

The number of people needed in corporations (no upgraded ones) is stable for a very long time except for defense related corporations. Numbers in defense related corporations is now much lower than before.
This too happened in the past year and was concluded several months ago.

Supersoldier:

I checked the country.
High population and an excellent health index.
Population is declining.

I checked our computations at these levels of population and health index and I think it is too hard to make population increase.

It is quite hard to reduce death rates in large countries.
Probably too hard.

we will make a small change next week and tune it.
After reviewing results, we may tune again.

In all cases:
If population is very important to you, and it should be,
it makes sense to increase the health index.

You will see a change in the graphs immediately after the upgrade.
It does take some time to settle down and it is hard to predict. The computation is numeric (not analytic).
It will stabilize after many cycles. (game months).

I know we have been here before, but most times at lower population levels.

The change I will implement, will improve population growth also at lower population levels.

Andy,

Thank you so much for investigating. I know you all are working hard and I thank you for your time. I will let you know what happens after the update. Is there anything the GM can also do in tweaking future education levels as to prevent such future explosions of workers at that level? As you know this can cause real undue stress(as it already has on the economy). Do you have an suggestions that I can do in order to reduce the huge numbers of LLW in the mean time?
